Not like anyone needed a reminder, but Game of Thrones makes its return tonight. Ushering in the new season is Matt Edmondson and Sophie Turner’s self-proclaimed badly rapped song “Game of Moans.”
Not gonna lie, when I heard the title I thought it was gonna be a porn parody, but turns out the song’s more about moaning through life’s little grievances than moaning through… well, you know. (Besides, Hustler’s already got the parody market covered with This Ain’t Game of Thrones XXX. You best click that link, by the way. The trailer is surprisingly safe for work, unsurprisingly hilarious, and their Daenerys is so spot on it’s insane.)
Check out the insanely catchy “Game of Moans” below, and tune in to HBO tonight for the season 4 premiere of Game of Thrones!
It’s true, folks. It’s really, really true.
Rumors have been swirling about video game publisher Telltale Games – the glorious people responsible for The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us – working on a new project based on hit book series and HBO show Game of Thrones. With this announcement trailer, Telltale Games has made those rumors super duper official.
Naturally, the trailer doesn’t show us much of anything, and the given release date of “2014” is as vague as possible, but hey! We’re getting a Game of Thrones game. And based on how amazing The Walking Dead was, and how much I loved episode one of The Wolf Among Us, I foresee much enjoyment to come from Telltale’s new project.
Now, all I need is an actual release date for “Smoke and Mirrors” and I’ll be the happiest camper in the world.
