Robert Downey Jr. might be a global heartthrob thanks to his starring role as genius billionaire playboy philanthropist Tony Stark — otherwise known as Iron Man — but he recently teamed up with Microsoft Office’s Collective Project and the talented engineers at Limbitless Solutions to help the life of one very special kid. Awwww.
The Marvel stalwart helped unveil a 3D-printed bionic arm, for young seven-year-old Alex who was born with a partially-developed right arm, decorated to look like Iron Man’s own armoured pieces. Alex seemed absolutely thrilled with his new arm, and we couldn’t be happier for him.
The arm itself only cost $350 in materials to produce and if you want to donate and become a hero of your very own, the link is at the top of their home page. Good job, guys.
