Bong Joon-Ho’s “Snowpiercer” Will Get Limited Release

The Weinstein Company and director Bong Joon-Ho have finally come to an agreement about the release of Snowpiercer in the United States.

The initial disagreement stemmed from Harvey Weinstein wanting to cut twenty minutes from the original movie before releasing it to the U.S. wider audience. Now Snowpiercer is finally getting a U.S. release date, but the bad news is that it’s only going to play in limited theaters, which means you might not get a chance to see it right away. Hey, at least it’s something!

Snowpiercer has gotten very positive reviews from critics who have gotten a chance to see the movie overseas, and its international box office numbers have been very high. It also boasts a star studded cast that includes Chris Evans, Octavia Spencer, and Tilda Swinton. As of yet, there is no official release date.
