We’re getting our first major movie-to-TV crossover with Jaimie Alexander set to make a guest appearance on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D as Sif; Marvel has confirmed.
I’ve long given up on this show, as I’m sure many others have, if ratings are any indication. Bringing in a major character like Sif, who’s appeared in both Thor films, is a huge draw to viewers like me – at least for an episode or two.
That’s right, True Believers, Jaimie Alexander will make a special guest appearance as Sif in an upcoming episode of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” reprising her role from Marvel’s “Thor” and “Thor: The Dark World”!
Last seen in “Thor: The Dark World”—now the third largest grossing Marvel Studios film—Sif has come to Earth with a very specific mission. Unfortunately, we can’t tell you just what brings her to our neck of the woods just yet. [Marvel]
Now this is the Thor crossover we were promised in “The Well,” an episode that failed to deliver on all fronts. The only question is if Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. can sustain its viewership.
Stan Lee and Bill Paxton will also make guest appearances this season, with Paxton being involved in a four-episode arc as Agent John Garrett, a character from the comic books.
