Peter O’Toole Has Died At 81

Legendary actor Peter O’Toole has passed away at the age of 81. He’s probably best known for starring in the 1962 epic Lawrence of Arabia.

Since then, he went on to star in The Lion in Winter, Goodbye Mr. Chips, How to Steal a Million, Venus, and Stardust.

Despite being nominated for the Academy Award eight times, O’Toole never won the award. Eventually, he was given an honorary Oscar in 2003, although he did not want to accept it, at first. In a letter, he wrote that he was “still in the game and might win the bugger outright.”
