“Sin City” TV Series Being Developed by The Weinstein Company

A Sin City television show is in the works, courtesy of the Weinstein brothers.

The sequel to 2005’s Sin City, Sin City: A Dame To Die For (starring newcomers Josh Brolin, Eva Green, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Juno Temple, and Jamie Chung), is slated for an August 22, 2014 release date. The plan is for the Sin City TV show to “quickly follow” the release of the movie, which means we might see the Sin City TV adaptation as early as September 2014. Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller, both of whom directed the Sin City films (with Miller having authored the graphic novels), are involved in the development of the show.

Small screen adaptations of Fargo, GoodFellas, Scream (to be aired on MTV), and Limitless are already in the works, which has me wondering what they’ll come up with next.

What film would you like to see adapted into a TV show?
